| PREPARE YOUR SKIN |
Start by exfoliating your face with a gentle scrub or a light peel. Try Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Pads for a light, but even exfoliation. Let your skin dry after you exfoliate and apply a light, oil-free moisturizer around the nose and on any other dry spots to prevent streaks. |
| APPLY LIGHTLY |
With clean hands apply a small amount of the self tanner (dime size is usually sufficient) to the areas where you would naturally tan: the forehead, the apples of your cheeks and the middle of your chin. Then blend outward from these areas. Do not rub it in. Use a very light touch around the nostrils and above the top lip. These areas have a tendency to pick up more color. Then feather the self tanner into your hairline and below the jawbone. Avoid eyelids and eyebrows as they can turn orange. Wash your hands immediately after you finish. Try one of these self tanners, Rodial Brazilian Tan Light or Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Glow Pad.
