ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS:
How can I get fuller, plumper lips?

In the era of feminine beauty being defined by big, full lips many of us not so lucky in that department are searching for ways to increase the size of our lips while still maintaining a natural look. Among injectables, collagen and restylane are most popular. Unfortunately, the effects of both disappear in a matter of months. Fat injections, although longer lasting, are also not permanent.

But a better solution may be on the way. Staging a comeback is a new (but not so new) injectable: silicone. Under the trademark SiliKon 1000, it was approved by the FDA in 1997 to treat eye injuries. In a still controversial procedure, some doctors have found it effective in permanently plumping the lips. The procedure involves injecting tiny microdroplets of SiliKon 1000 into the lips requiring as many as 50-60 injections. Although the procedure is still not common, it appears highly promising, especially with the imminent introduction of wrinkle erasing SilSkin, a liquid silicone awaiting FDA clearance.

However, it may be a couple of years before SilSkin is available. In the meantime, you can smooth and plump your lips with Lips to Die For by Peter Thomas Roth. You may not wake up with Angelina Jolieās lips but your lips will become plumper and smoother with use.
